Who we are?
Victoria Tablehouse is a family restaurant on Victoria Street in the Metcalfe area of Ottawa. The name comes from our street, and from the idea of a shared table inside the house, not just a takeout counter.
Olga is the cook, chef, and the person behind every plate that leaves the kitchen. She takes care of all food preparation, creates the menu, and is always adding small details to make the dishes better. Everything is cooked here, by us, with attention and care.
Our story
We opened our doors on June 28, 2026 and we’re very thankful to everyone who has supported us from the beginning. Our idea was simple: to feed people with good, fresh, homemade food, where as much as possible is prepared by us, not by a factory. We want guests to actually enjoy what they eat, not just “get full.”
A lot of people helped us at the start—especially customers who believed in us from day one. There was a lot of work put into this place, from the decorations and small details to big repairs and fixes. Every part of the restaurant has a lot of that effort and story in it.
Quality and service
Every day, we pay attention to how our food tastes, how big the portions are, and how consistent everything feels. We listen to personal feedback and comments from our customers and use that to keep improving.
Our goal is to keep our service fast, clean, and kind. We want guests to feel that they are being treated with respect, and that their opinions truly matter.
Atmosphere
We try to keep a home-like atmosphere: cozy, comfortable, and family-friendly. Inside, you’ll find a relaxed space where people can sit down, talk, and enjoy their meal.
For families, we have toys for kids, boards for drawing, and a kids’ menu. Soon, we plan to have live music in the restaurant to add even more warmth and energy. We are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and we offer a daily lunch special to keep things interesting.
